I had Germany ML and PICK yesterday (read they were the much better team and needed the win). Didn't work out so well...

Took Austria ML who dominated the 1st half with nothing to show for it. Loss

Took Romania ML earlier, missed PK for the win. Loss

Too France at a Pick, not working out so well.

Very true. If you watch and follow soccer, it is probably the easiest sport to beat. I truly believe that. Best teams rarely lose at home (Chelsea hasn't lost in about 80 straight, Arsenal has lost once in ~54 games at Emirates). There are always some truly awful teams that stand no chance of beating the best teams. The low scoring nature of the game often f*ks you on draws, but if you watch and follow, you can win.
